Task description : this task is in three parts โ all use the Census@School website. In part one, students are required to analyse small samples of students and comment on the variation of the samples using calculations of mean, median, mode and range. In part two, they look at larger samples and comment on outliers and the effects on the mean and median. In part three, they take their own sample data from their class and comment on how accurately this reflects the true median and mean. All reflective questions can be found in the spreadsheets on the taskโs webpage. | |||
