Victorian Curriculum outcome : Describe probabilities using fractions, decimals and percentages. Conduct chance experiments with both small and large numbers of trials using appropriate digital technologies. Compare observed frequencies across experiments with expected frequencies. |
Task description : Having completed level F, students spin their spinner 10 times, 25 times, 50 times and 100 times. They create a graph for each set of spins (four graphs). Within each graph, they compare the results they got with the expected results and comment on the differences (hopefully the more they spin, the closer it gets to the theoretical). |
