Victorian Curriculum outcome : Factorise algebraic expressions by identifying numerical factors 
Task description : Students solve the doughnut puzzle by creating four fourdomino doughnuts where the meeting ends are equivalent. Students prove each match using the distributive law through representing the expressions as rectangular areas (see the video). They also show the match using conventional algebraic manipulation. 
Assessment options : Photographs of game. 
Teacher notes : The difference between this Algebra Dominoes game and the level J version is that this version does not use binomials.
